First Media Review

For my first review I'll be reviewing the album "Oneirology" by CunninLynguists. The album is a concept about the subconscious and dreams. This album is by far the most different sounding hip hop I've ever heard, the instrumentals have a hypnotic feel to it to capture the concept of dreams. Even though it is not a traditional sounding hip hop album, it's still a great buy and I recommend anyone who's a fan of the group or just a fan of hip hop in general should pick this up. This album was released in spring of 2011 and in my opinion album of the year so far.

Introduction

I am a student at Frederick Community College in my 5th semester and I will have my associates degree by the end of the semester. For intro to electronic media I want to have a better understanding of technology and know how to use it better. After I complete my associates I plan on attending the University of Maryland to get a degree in history. In my free time I like to listen to music, I am avid fan of hip hop but my music ranges from new rock or hip hop to jazz or r&b from the 70's. I also make beats (instrumentals) in my free time, music definitely is a passion of mine and I would like to do something with the process of making music.
